Hi all!
It’s that time of year, when, as a member of World Fiddle Day Toronto, you are invited to a special gathering to reflect on last year, and to share ideas for World Fiddle Day 2017.
Join us: Wednesday December 7th at Long&McQuade’s Clinic space, 935 Bloor St. West, 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
The World Fiddle Day Toronto board has started planning for World Fiddle Day Toronto 2017, on May 20, 2017, at the Aga Kahn museum. We expect World Fiddle Day 2017 to be bigger and better than ever, including an evening concert of 6 amazing guest artists.
World Fiddle Day Toronto is organized by a volunteer Board with the artistic direction by Anne Lederman, Folk Music Ontario’s 2016 Estelle Klein Award winner!
At the meeting we’ll review next years plans, and we’ll ask for your ideas and input. We’ll be asking for volunteers to make WFDT 2017 run smoothly. We will even have a few tunes to round off the evening, so bring your books from last year.
2016 World Fiddle Day Toronto received excellent press reviews, and some great photos and press from World Fiddle Day 2016.
